摘要
In the transfer of nonvolatiles into the gas phase, thermal evaporation is extremely inefficient because of the rapid chemical degradation (left). Generally, nonvolatiles can be brought into the gas phase by softionization methods such as ESI or MALDI for investigation by MS (right). Now a method has been developed to access isolated biomolecules in the gas phase under ambient conditions (center). (Figure Presented). © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
