摘要：
Overall, outcomes for most patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia have dramatically improved over the past 2 decades; however, in the United States, in one particular subset, it has been observed that patients without medical insurance have experienced far worse outcomes than their counterparts with insurance. This editorial serves as a call to action in our field to begin to understand and discuss improving inequities in our health care system for patients with highly curable but rare hematologic malignancies.
