A new N-methoxyl-carbonyl benzylisoquinoline from Litsea cubeba

摘要
A new benzylisoquinoline alkaloid (center dot)-N-methoxycarbonyl-norjuziphine (1) was isolated from Litsea cubeba. Its structure was identified by extensively spectroscopic techniques and confirmed by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 showed cytotoxicity against HL-60 and MCF-7 cells, with IC50 values of 18.1 and 15.0M, respectively, comparable to 3.1 and 17.5M of the cisplatin (positive control).
