摘要
Rheumatic fever is a major problem in developing countries. Sydenham's chorea is the first stage in the development of rheumatic fever. Monitoring of the patient during the medication is recommended. A prototype for monitoring device has been designed for the monitoring of the patients who have Sydenham's chorea. Movements have been detected by accelerometer and gyroscope and transmitted to the receiver. Uncoordinated movements have been detected using pattern recognition in neural network. The neural network used is feed forward neural network and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is used in training phase. The device has been tested for metrics like gradient of loss tangent, error histogram, confusion matrix. The device can be implemented in real time to monitor the patients of Sydenham's chorea.
