摘要
Quantum-dimensional effects are of great significance for optoelectronic properties of quantum dots. Their energy spectrum is essentially different from that of a bulk semiconductor. The behavior of electrons in quantum dots can be described by a model similar to a three-dimensional potential well. This work is concerned with calculating the band structure of a linear array of quantum dots. A method for calculating the energy spectrum of a linear array of quantum dots is proposed, which is a further development of a method of linear attached cylindrical waves.
