摘要
Permeability of experimental micropore carbon material was investigated based on the solution of steady-state pore-scale flow in geometry representing real material pores in 2D and 3D. Geometries for calculations were created based on the X-ray micro-computed tomography measurements. A numerical solution of the velocity field and the Darcy equation allowed determining the permeability. Results obtained for 2D and 3D geometries were compared. A method of permeability measurements based on the Carman-Kozeny equation for real 2D and 3D microstructures was also investigated and compared with those obtained from the pore-scale flow.
