摘要
Service-oriented architecture is a major architectural pattern used for the development of large scale IT systems. Along with the increase in adaptation of SLAs (Service Level Agreements) in contracts between clients and service providers, these changes lead to new challenges in the field of Quality of Service (QoS) management. Due to loose coupling of web services and the dynamic, non-deterministic nature of such systems, there is a necessity to develop new methods and infrastructure solutions for proper resource management in such systems. This paper presents a proposition of a middleware for quality of service and resource management, which addresses unique challenges related to service-oriented systems that provide functionality through composite services. The proposition contains the description of the architecture of the middleware system, description of request processing workflow and a definition of quality of service and resource allocation problem for introduced system, followed by the proposition of optimization model for this problem.
