摘要：

Patients today want fast, atraumatic, and predictable treatments more than ever. This is especially true for dental implantology. The immediate treatment concept presented here, defined as immediate implant placement (according to the 6th ITI Consensus Conference 2018) with subsequent immediate restoration (according to the Barcelona Consensus 2002) by means of a preoperatively fabricated CAD/CAM crown meets these requirements in all respects. However, strict adherence to the principles (patient selection, bone quality and quantity, number and design of implants, high primary stability, experience of the practitioner) is a prerequisite for the success of the treatment, as is a fully digital workflow. There is then an above-average patient satisfaction with an excellent esthetic result postoperatively and in the follow-up.
