摘要
Differentiation of tracheary elements was studied in callus culture of lpomoea baratas (L.) Lam grown from stems explants submitted to different concentrations of IAA, cinetin and sucrose. The results show an induction of differentiation by both growth regulators. Sucrose concentrations in the media did not exerced a marked influence. Tracheary elements developed in groups scattered in the parenchyma callus. It was not observed variations on the pattern of secondary thickenings in all experiments.
