摘要
A novel antenna array for the mobile handset is proposed for the upcoming 5G systems. The antenna element of the array consists of one radiator and two reflectors on the same plane. Based on the antenna element, an antenna array that has four radiators and five reflectors was designed. The proposed array was placed close to a 4G antenna element. The radiation properties of the array and the 4G antenna were investigated. The antenna array exhibited good performance without deteriorating 4G antenna efficiency. The proposed antenna design is expected to be applied to the next-generation mobile handsets.
