摘要
This paper focuses on the multi-circuit HVDC transmission system which can localize DC line faults. The conventional method requires to shutdown and restart the wind power plants after the DC line faults, resulting in the long-term suspension of the power plants. This paper proposes a control sequence for enabling continuous operation of wind power plants under DC line faults in the multi-circuit HVDC transmission system. The proposed method reduces the power outage after the DC line faults. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method enables continuous operation of the wind power plants and reduces the power outage to 0.2 seconds.
