Magnetic properties of the deformed single crystals of molybdenum and zinc

摘要
An influence of deformation on the magnetic susceptibility of molybdenum and zinc single crystals in the temperature range 77 divided by 300 K and at the magnetic fields 0 divided by 2,5 kOe is investigated. It is deduced that the increase of deformation of samples having the activated surface causes the essential growth of paramagnetism and the occurrence of non-linear susceptibility dependence on the intensity of magnetic field. At the room temperature and magnetic fields such that H < 100 Oe the abnormal diamagnetism increase is observed. This phenomenon can be explained by the occurrence of a superconductive phase within the bulk of a crystal.
