摘要
The paper presents advanced computer and biologically inspired algorithms of modern meta-heuristics that can he actively used in Advanced Distribution Management Systems. By critical survey, emphasizing the advantages and identifying opportunities for improvement, the aim of this paper is to systematically and credibly show which principles the authors consider to be highly potential for application in industry. Although the actual number of papers by respected scientists is much higher and many good articles are unfairly neglected in this paper, within the space-time constraints an overview is given of those that will surely be of interest to professionals developing similar solutions. The authors hope that this article will serve as a good starting point for everyone willing to develop real advanced solutions that will improve the world of power industry.
