摘要
An innovative design is presented for a compact circular involute optical delay line and its capabilities are demonstrated. An optical beam reflects from a rotating involute reflector, providing a time delay linearly proportional to the rotation angle, with better than 3 fs temporal resolution. An involute reflector with dimensions of 1.57 x 2.36 cm provides more than 100 ps time delay.
