摘要
The combination of Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy with the imaging capability of infrared array detectors is an important and powerful tool for chemical and spatial analysis of materials. FTIR spectroscopic imaging is used in the enhancement of the high-throughput technology and microfluidics. The pharmaceutical industry and combinatorial chemistry are initial drivers of the development of high throughput technology and its applications. The FTIR spectroscopic imaging approach can be used in high-throughput studies of many samples in controlled environments for analysis of crystallization behavior and polymorphic changes. Other potential applications include ionic liquids research, catalytic reactions, biosensors and proteomics, medical applications, drug delivery, polymer science, fluid mechanics, and various other topics.
