摘要
Spray pyrolysis was used to create polycrystalline thin films of cadmium stannite (Cd2SnO4) on glass substrates at (450, 500 and 550 degrees C) for 60 min and characterized by structural and optical characteristics. Results of the experiment indicated that increased temperature has significant effects on the properties of the films. When the temperature was increased, the average crystallite size of the film increased from 29.07 to 33.70 nm and 42.12 nm. FE-SEM images revealed that the created Cd2SnO4 film has a smooth surface The visible region's average optical transmittance (550-900) nm. After increasing substrate temperature, the percentages declined from 92.7 % to 90.6% and then to 85.7%. At all wavelengths, the reflection of the films is regarded as low. Increased temperature reduces the absorbance coefficient, which is related to greater crystallization of the substance, which reduces crystal defects. Copyright CO 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
