The solubility of spirotetramat in four binary solvents (methanol + water, ethanol + water, isopropanol + water, acetone + water) were studied by laser monitoring observation technique. The solubility data of spirotetramat in binary mixed solvents were subsequently fitted by the modified Apelblat model, lambda h model, Van't Hoff model, Jouyban-Acree model and NRTL model. The results showed that Apelblat model and Van't Hoff model were more suitable for fitting the solubility data. Furthermore, the effects of the solute-solvent intermolecular interactions on the solubility were analyzed using the KAT-LSER model. The results showed that the dipolar/polarizability of the solvent had the greatest influence on the solubility of spirotetramat.
