摘要
Polypropylene has wide acceptance for use in many application areas. However, low thermal resistance complicates its general use. The new approach in thermal stabilization of PP is based on the synthesis of polypropylene nanocomposites. This paper discusses new advances in the study of the thermal degradation of polypropylene nanocomposite. The observed results on thermal degradation of polypropylene nanocomposite are interpreted by means of a proposed kinetic model, and predominant role of the one-dimensional diffusion reaction type. According to the kinetic analysis, polypropylene nanocomposites demonstrated the transcendent thermal and fireproof behavior as compared with neat polypropylene.
