摘要
Adjustment Disorder (AD) is a very prevalent problem in primary care and hospital settings. However, only general treatment guidelines are available for its treatment. This work presents the effectiveness of a Cognitive-Behavioral treatment program supported by virtual reality (VR) in a series of 13 participants. The treatment produced an improvement in all clinical assessed outcome measures (related to AD, and anxiety, depression and interference and improvement variables), and this improvement was maintained at 1-month follow-up. Furthermore, all participants reported having a good opinion and being satisfied with the treatment supported by VR. This work supports the effectiveness of a manualized program and the utility of VR for the treatment of AD.
