Design and evaluation of a fault-tolerant mobile-agent system

摘要
The design of agent server architecture for fault-tolerannt mobile agent systems during the server crashes is discussed. It is found that the agent server provides three types of stable storage-for logs, checkpoints, and messages. It is suggested that that the system must checkpoint each agent's data which is a way to permanently store the checkpointed data. It is also observed that during failure occurance, the system performs rollback recovery to abort uncommitted actions.
