摘要
In recent years, Turkey's textile export strength has been constantly improving and frequently launched anti-dumping relief investigations into China's textile and clothing trade. In order to explore the causes of trade friction between China and Turkey, this paper compares the current situation, similarities in exports, as well as their respective market share in the EU; considering correlations and causations between textile and garment exports between China and Turkey. Our study finds that there is an obvious competitive relationship between the two countries' textile and garment exports. Secondly, through the calculation of the complementary index of textile and garment trade, we find that there is great potential for cooperation in textile and garment trade between the two countries. Based on this premise, this study analyzes the respective advantages of China's and Turkey's textile export strategies and puts forward some cooperative suggestions to resolve trade friction and complement each other's advantages.
