摘要：

This paper presents a distributed Web management model based on mobile agents. The model includes a distributed Web server system and a multi-agent system responsible for its management. Solving of a Web management problem requires a whole lot of tasks. The paper defines a multi-agent system operating on behalf of a webmaster; specifies formal models, management tasks and management knowledge and gives a case study describing an agent webmaster.
