Criteria are established for existence of three solutions to the boundary value problems Lx = f (t,x), w(1)x (0) - w(2)x' (0) = 0 = w(3)x (1) + w(4)x' (1), where Lx := -(px')' + qx. Here, p is an element of C-1[0,1], p > 0, q is an element of C[0,1], q >= 0.
