'An analytic signal approach to the interpretation of total field magnetic anomalies' - Discussion

This paper shows the application of the analytic signal approach to the interpretation of magnetic anomalies. However, since the definition of the approach is not exact and the mathematical treatment of the problem given by its equations is very tedious, a simple approach to the problem is suggested. The derivation of this approach is presented and its application is demonstrated.
