摘要
The circular concrete filled steel tubular stub columns have been widely used especially when the need to high load carrying capacity structures is the utmost concern. Fulfilling this need, many studies were performed to analyze these structures. This paper presents finite element analysis using the software ABAQUS to the circular CFST stub columns. The produced FE model is verified by comparing its results, failure load and axial load-shortening curves, to the experimental results. It has been found that results of the FE model are in excellent agreement with the experimental data. (C) 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
