摘要：
The relationship between the concepts of "error" and "uncertainty" of measurement results is examined. The concepts of "standard uncertainty," "combined standard uncertainty," and "expanded uncertainty" are shown to be inapplicable in nonmetric scales of quantities and properties, in which the general concept of "uncertainty" in the broad sense is recommended.
