MULTI-AXIAL REVOLUTIONS

The paper gives short information on a special class of Euclidean geometric transformations of general revolutions about several axes in the space. Matrix form of the concatenated transformations, a regular square matrix T of rank four, can be obtained as a product of matrices representing particular revolutions. Classifications of specific types of multi-axial revolutions are discussed. Trajectories of the movement of a point in the particular transformations are visualised. Special positions of axes of revolutions are chosen in the coordinate axes or in lines parallel to the co-ordinate axes.
