摘要：

The 2006 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI), focused on some of the issues related with the technological development, challenges, and application of Computational Intelligence (CI) in the field of biometrics. Some of the latest biometrics solutions and systems were also displayed at the event. Topics related with authentication and identification through the application of biometrics solutions were also discussed at the conference. Participants at the event also focused on the significant applications of biometric solutions for several applications, including enhancing national security and preventing identity frauds. Anti-spoofing technology and two-way authentication strategy were two of the significant solutions presented at the event, to deal with the biometrics technological problems and challenges.
