摘要
Java is a popular Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language, especially in the Internet applications, equipment controllers, and communication and mobile devices. It gains acceptance because of its security, portability and reusability. Java has most of the advantages of object-oriented languages such as encapsulation, polymorphism, dynamic binding and inheritance. However traditional computing systems are mainly targeted to procedural programming. Java program performance is notoriously poor due to the lack of support of hardware and the extra software overheads. jHISC is developed to target for Java based on High Level Instruction Set Computer (HISC) which supports Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in hardware level. With jHISC architecture, software developer can take the advantages of OOP without the performance penalty. A hardware object referencing scheme of jHISC is introduced in, this paper.
