摘要：

Eubria mesoamericana Barr and Shepard, new species, is described from Panama and Costa Rica, accompanied by images of the adult and larva and illustrations of the male genitalia. Habitat information is provided for the specimens collected by the authors. The discovery of a new species of Eubria Latreille in the Neotropics reveals a surprising geographic disjunction from its only congener in the Palearctic, Eubria palustris (Germar). Placement of the new species in the genus Eubria is supported by adult and larval morphological characters.
