摘要
The objective of this study is to determine the effects of an aging procedure on the rheological properties of several crumb rubber modifiers (CRMs) containing various percentages of trans-polyoctenamer rubber (TOR). CRM binders were produced in the laboratory using three doses of crumb rubber and three doses of TOR. The aged CRM binders were artificially aged through accelerated aging processes. A series of Superpave binder tests were carried out using dynamic shear rheometer. The study indicated that the use of TOR can improve the rheological characteristics and aging resistance of CRM binder. However, it has no significant difference for the different TOR content. The rubber content was found to have a significant effect on the properties of the aged CRM binders.
