RISK MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The article deals with the assessment of the quality of risk management description in project management documents. Three kinds of documents have been selected for the research purposes representing project management descriptions, risk management descriptions as well as books on project management. The aim of the pilot research was to establish if it is possible to use qualitative research methods in the research of project and risk management. In the pilot research mainly the publicly available Internet sources were used and the approximate number of the publicly available sources was determined. As a result of the pilot research it was found that the use of the qualitative research methods was possible in the research of project and risk management. Results of the applied qualitative methods are not to be interpreted unanimously and additional use of other research methods, for example, quantitative ones, is necessary.
