摘要
The effect of strong interaction of microwave radiation with very thin conductive fibers has been investigated. The formulas for the absorption and scattering efficiency coefficients are obtained on the basis of the Mie theory. Conditions are found when absorption and scattering are very strong. The fiber diameter should be comparable to the thickness of the skin layer in the fiber. This is about 10 times less than the radiation wavelength in matter. The heat conduction equation, which describes the heating of the fiber by a microwave beam, was solved. The experiment by radiation (lambda = 8 mm) was confirmed the theoretical results.
