摘要
This paper describes the MAEXPRO software package for estimating the signal energetics in the near-ground layer of the marine and near-shore atmosphere. The key input parameter in the package is the fetch, characterized by parameter fetch, the distance over open water from the windward side. The prograin makes it possible to estimate the aerosol attenuation as a function of standard, easily measured meteorological parameters, the microphysical composition of the aerosol, the spectral range of the detector, and the geometry of the observation track. The MAEXPRO package also presents other possibilities: to calculate the aerosol - particle distribution function over sizes. the scattering cross section, and the volume distribution.
