An End-to-End Security Framework for Smart Healthcare Information Sharing against Botnet-based Cyber-Attacks

摘要
Medical industry is entering the era of digital transformation through the introduction of emerging technologies resulting in the digitization of healthcare service provisioning. However, the underlying infrastructure once compromised, can lead to information stealth and destruction of the healthcare devices based on the control instructions provided by the attacker. In this regard, we propose an end-to-end framework for secure information sharing in smart healthcare applications against botnet-based cyber-attacks. We focus on different levels of protection involving storage and transmission of healthcare information. Moreover, we implement some of the related aspects of the proposed approach on Access Control Policy Testing (ACPT) tool to demonstrate its feasibility, and discuss state-of-the-art in the domain.
