摘要
The eight-coordination complex, [Mo (dtc)(4)] [Nd (dtc)(4)] formed by N, N-diethyldithiocarbamate (dtc) with the transition element molybdenum and the rare-earth element neodymium was characterized by means of conductance, cyclic voltammetry and UV-visible absorption spectra. The experiments indicated that molybdenum in the cation and dtc group in the anion possess an activity in a redox reaction. Moreover the complex cation is more stable than the complex anion. The formal standard electrode potential and electron transfer number of the complex cation were further studied using thin-layer spectroelectrochemistry.
