摘要
The effect of warm rolling on precipitation and mechanical properties of a cryorolled Al-Zn-Mg-Cu sheet was investigated by hardness measurements, tensile tests, Electron backscatter diffraction, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and atom probe tomography. The strength of the alloy subjected to cryorolling followed by warm rolling was higher than that of the alloy subjected to only cryorolling with the same total thickness reduction. Besides, the warm rolled alloy exhibited a better combination of strength and ductility compared to the cryorolled alloy after peak aging. Microstructure' results demonstrated that warm roiling facilitated the formation of fine strengthening phases uniformly distributed in the matrix while cryorolling caused a mixture of fine and coarse precipitates during artificial aging.
