摘要
This paper describes the new image segmentation technique. The suggested algorithm is based on the original histogram-based multi-threshold presegmentation procedure. The advantages of this procedure are the high computational speed and good separability in histogram modes detection. The following segmentation makes it possible to obtain the reasonable "good-looking" set of noncrossing homogeneous regions of the image that could be find out and measured later. Experiments on the number of real airborne images demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.
