The performances on ALA reluctance synchronous motor, surface mounted permanent motor, two-part rotor motor which ALA part d-axis is aligned with PM part d-axis and two-part rotor motor which ALA part d-axis is displaced from PM part d-axis are compared based on different current vector control. The disadvantages are overcome and the advantages are exerted by the two-part rotor motor. It is shown that the d-axis of the two-part motor displaced with a moderate combined allows a lower value of rated current and exhibits a lower inverter capability rating. The performance of the two-part rotor displacement motor can be relation to rotation orientation, the displacement angle is limited by the torque in low speed operation.
