摘要：

Serious ecological problems in Belarus stipulated by large-scale land reclamation and water pollution due to diffuse and point sources necessitated the elaboration of a river basin environmental passport. Different type of information about the environment, embracing components of both animate and inanimate nature, were included in the document called an environmental passport. To facilitate the process of accumulating and distributing information, a special computer program is worked out.
