[GRAPHICS] Various chiral (9-anthryl)carbinol templates undergo Diels-Alder cycloadditions with a variety of symmetric and nonsymmetric dienophiles with excellent pi-facial selectivity and regioselectivity, under both thermal and Lewis acid catalyzed conditions.
