摘要
The characteristics of droplets of 20similar to601 m in diameter as sediment of bronchia in a piezoelectrically actuated microjet based,on MEMS and used for inhalation drug therapy (IDT) are discussed. The diameter of droplet is a key parameter for the microjet, and has an important effect on the validity of IDT and deposit position. The diameter of droplet has a close relationship with such factors as working conditions and ejected liquid characteristics. Advanced Particle Dynamics Analysis (PDA) is used for measuring the diameter of droplet. The characteristic of a droplet diameter is analyzed at different distances from the nozzle of a microjet, and the effect of driving voltage and working frequency on the droplet diameter has also been measured. The experimental results show that appropriate inhalation position, working voltage and frequency are key factors for high-performance eject and effective IDT.
