Transnational M&A and Industrial Security Research in China

Since the 1990s, the transnational M&A (Merger & Acquisition) has already been the main approach of international direct investment instead of newly built investment, which has a significant upgrade in recent years. Moreover, the transnational M&A has affected more on the industrial security. In the 21 century, with the rapid development of economic globalization and regional economic integration, the industrial security problem has already become the common one which has been faced by various countries in the world. Many countries have lost not only the normal industrial chains and industrial ecology of the economic development, but also have lost control power of important industries and the core technologies related to the national economy and the people's livelihood under economic globalization impact. The article discusses the industrial security problem from the perspective of transnational M&A and proposes industrial security evaluation indexes in China, and then put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
