摘要
This paper presents a new type of hybrid antenna geometry which can operate over triple bands. It consists of a U-shaped printed antenna and a cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) along with a ground plane which contains T-shaped slot. The proposed antenna operates over frequency ranges 5.75-6.56 GHz, 9.46 -12.7 GHz and 14.29-16.13 GHz and provides peak gain about 7.3 dBi. Different modes of CDRA like HEM11 delta, TM01 delta-like, HEM12 delta and HEM21 delta are being excited. The proposed antenna can be used as an electromagnetic sensor for C, X and Ku band applications.
