摘要
This paper presents a new approach to task distribution and scheduling based on the agent coordination mechanisms Generalized Partial Global Planning (GPGP) and Task Analysis, Environment Modeling and Simulation language (TAEMS). The relationship among agents, tasks, and subtasks and their applications is taken into consideration as a main focus of the approach. The implementation of job scheduling with the approach is introduced. Discussions on the proposed approach and its implementation show that it provides an effective way and a solid base for knowledge-based scheduling and coordination in distributed manufacturing systems.
