摘要
It systematically discusses the application of the genetic algorithm in,the problem of function optimization, and put forward the general framework and procedures of the function optimization based on genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm is a method that exerts the evolution process to a group, selects the individuals which have higher adaptability into the next generation and meanwhile eliminates the ones not adaptable enough, then repeats the process in order to find the individual that has highest adaptability - the optimal individual of the last generation is the effective result of the genetic algorithm.
