摘要
WSN stands for wireless sensor networks. The major difference with ad hoc networks is that WSN supports one to one, many to many, one to many and many to one node communicate between them. However, energy consumption, and network lifetime are always a challenge in WSN. In this paper, we have used a synchronous variable duty cycle MAC to create infrastructure for WSN and communicate synchronously in single-hop and multihop scenarios with different data rates in different paths to attain better performance in delay, energy, lifetime, throughput. Simulations are carried out using NS-2.35.
