摘要
The number of people entering Mexico to try to reach the United States has tripled in the last two years. The objective of this article is to study the Mexican legal system in relation to the protection of children and to reflect the jurisprudential criteria of Mexico and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights to determine how the best interests of children in Latin America are protected in the Latin American system in case of unaccompanied migrants or children with disabilities. Data are presented that demonstrate the seriousness of the situation in Mexico's borders due to the inability of the migration authorities to guarantee the best interests of unaccompanied children or adolescents with disabilities.
