Alkyl- and arylphenylphosphine oxides can easily be synthesized with an excellent enantiomeric excess starting from diastereomerically pure (Rp)-(-)-menthylhydrogenophenylphosphinate and organometallic reagents. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
