Making Him New: Ezra Pound in the Twenty-First Century

The New Ezra Pound Studies, exploring the latest developments in Pound scholarship, makes use of recently discovered primary texts and new methodological approaches in associated fields from gender studies to medieval historiography. Divided into three sections, the volume's chapters consider Pound's writings and sources; the relation between Pound's poetry and translations and new scholarship in East Asian studies; and Pound's cultural and political activities. The New Ezra Pound Studies will be of particular use to scholars interested in Pound's archives, his writings about China, and his use of Japanese sources.
